Privacy SWAN Consulting proud Gold sponsor of 2021 WiCyS Conference

Privacy SWAN Consulting, a woman-owned small business, is a proud Gold sponsor of the 2021 Women in Cybersecurity Conference. The Conference takes place from September 8-10 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado, and brings together innovators from the academic world, government, and business.

Privacy SWAN Consulting was founded by Janelle Hsia, a female cybersecurity industry expert, who understands the support women need. We bring our cybersecurity and technical expertise into our unique perspective on training because we see it from all views — technology, security, and privacy — not just the legal and compliance view.  We are a training and consulting company with a history of helping companies succeed, as well as a trusted advisor who can help you Sleep Well at Night (SWAN).

At Privacy SWAN Consulting, we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the cybersecurity and privacy sectors. We champion Women in Cybersecurity (WiCys) for their dedication to this cause. Along with a commitment to women, diversity is also a bedrock principle of the WiCyS mission, and its Racial Equity committee emphasizes that “inclusion, equity, and allyship is the heart and soul of all things WiCyS.” We at Privacy SWAN Consulting want to provide privacy and data protection training that inspires the members of this community to grow as individuals and implement great governance, privacy, and security programs at their respective organizations.

Technology has historically been male-dominated, and cybersecurity is no exception. Fortunately, this is changing, and WiCyS addresses the need for comprehensive education, mentorship, resource-sharing, and job opportunities for women in this fast-growing industry.   They have an extensive network of supporters to advance their mission of getting more women into the cybersecurity industry.

Founded in 2012 by Dr. Ambareen Siraj of Tennessee Tech University, with over 6,000 members in 69 countries, WiCyS has many opportunities for women to thrive and succeed. Check out their Community Calendar for the latest events.

The WiCyS Conference is an excellent opportunity for you to connect with other female students and professional candidates to fill your cybersecurity jobs. For detailed information about the Conference, including how to sponsor, visit www.wicys.org or email conference@wicys.org.
