Ideas can come from anywhere if you are willing to stop and listen. Here is a wonderful story that was born out of tragedy.

It was over 20 years ago that a women was found dead who had been dead for over 10 years. Her income - pension - and expenses - rent and bills were all on automatic so as far as anyone knew her ‘life’ continued until someone needed physical access to her flat. It was then that they found that she had died. Out of this isolation new ideas to keep people connected emerged.

My favorite is matching older adults with busy professionals who have a dog. The older adult, who doesn’t want full time care of a dog, takes the dog on walks and visits them during the day. The busy professional gets a trusted companion for their pet. Both people benefit plus the dog gets ever more love and treats :) Check out the rest of the examples in this heart warming story.
